Thinking of entering the Bay of Plenty ExportNZ awards?
We can talk about the benefits all day but if you don’t want to just take our word for it, we had a quick chat with Julie Hayes of BeeNZ, 2018 Winner of the Best Emerging Business category about their experience with the awards.
Check out Julie’s thoughts below on the Bay of Plenty ExportNZ Awards:
Being able to provide recognition to our staff for their hard work and effort over the past few years.
As a young emerging business it was a great way to gain exposure and credibility to our customers.
The application process definitely made us take a deeper look into our current policies and strategies, with a more analytical approach.
Through answering the application questions, it provided us with clarification on what we needed to do to enable us to build a strong BeeNZ brand both internationally and domestically.
The entry process was straightforward and easy to complete!
Being able to have that one on one talk with the judges was definitely valuable. It enabled us to further define our strategies and processes, and how to recognise and target key markets.
What can we say, it was AMAZING! From the awesome theme through to the MC, the music, the flow of events – it was very well organised and provided great networking.
Our team thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Since the awards, we have received acknowledgements from other New Zealand export businesses and have been able to form relationships with them.
The award provides assurance and creditability of our brand to international customers.
It’s been fantastic to see BeeNZ grow as they go from strength to strength and we are truly honoured that the ExportNZ Awards could be a part of that.
